Low and slow gets it done best! Woodwind Smoker consistently holds temp +/-5 degrees. Able to start 7-8 whole briskets at midnight then wrap them in foil and add pellets at 8:00 AM to finish the cook at noon. Beef, pork, chicken, fish, turkey, lamb have all been excellent, moist and tender with a nice smokey flavor. Don't even need BBQ sauce.

So I was going between a custom built stick burner and a pellet smoker. Buddy of mine is hardcore Trager fan and almost got me to buy one but then I found reviews of this unit on YouTube and I am so happy I did. I have had my unit for a year now, many cooks on it and have absolutely no complaints. The unit had a small ding in it from the factory but Camp Chef customer service was on point and took care of the issue for me and I was very pleased with how they handled it so props to them as well. And the price compared to a $3000 custom stick burner I was going to get was such a great value! I absolutely love the build quality, and the outcome of my low and slow cooks. The wifi system is on point and having the ability to check everything from my phone has its advantages for sure, although I am usually around to watch things but if I need to run to the store while my wife keeps an eye on it then I can monitor temps from my phone while I run my errands. Being able to smoke then reverse sear my steaks on the same system and the versatile is second to non. I have all the attachments for the side kick and have used everything except the pizza oven, but will soon. All works as it should. I highly recommend.

They should know that this product will change the way they grill!! I love the features of this grill!! The slide grill feature is great for searing. The sidekick is a great option for grilling burgers, making pizza, or just to add a little more grill space! The Ash drop is very convenient. You don’t have to take the whole grill apart to get the ash out of the fire pot! This grill heats up pretty quickly and maintains temp very well. The Wi-Fi feature is by far one of my favorite features on this grill! It is nice to be able to be anywhere and check the temp of the meat and grill. Overall this is a great grill. I love it and so will you!!
