Flat Top 600 With Lid

The product came in with significant damage (that did not prevent usage). Some of the damage was obviously from shipping. However, there is also evidence of poor workmanship including bent stainless on the top right and poor welds. Some of the welds were left untouched and others had noticeable attempts at repair that left cosmetic damage. Both shelves had shipping damage. The top shelf was only scratched but the bottom shelf had been caved in (but I was still able to install it). I took pictures of the damage as I was assembling the grill (with some pictures after it was completed due to the fact that I did not see the additional issues before starting). The grill is functional and life is too busy to deal with trying to return it so I am using it as is. After purchasing a Woodwind 24 a couple of years ago, I was very excited about purchasing the FTG600 to expand my outdoor cooking capability. My disappointment with how I received my product has certainly dampened that enthusiasm and has made it virtually assured that I will purchase a different brand of product when it comes time to make my next purchase.

I purchased this portable grill about a month ago and it's performed great! Please note that the pieces are pretty heavy, but the equipment appears to be quite durable and functional. I purchased the portable model because I have limited space on my deck (already have a Weber grill) and wanted to be able to take it with me to barbecues and campouts. I store it on shelves in my garage and have used it on my deck and back yard. I also store the griddle pan in a bag to help prevent rusting. It's been an awesome addition!

Well it finally made it, it’s a nice griddle. I bought this sight unseen videos only and recommendation of The Flat Top King on YouTube. I like it but FedEx shipping is maddening. Customer service is nice but shipping is slow they work 4-days a week. Now the top is nice couple of paint rubs on the hood and a small ding but hey it’s used outside. The Griddle it self seems warped but once heat gets applied it may change but I got the adjustment out all the way on back corner to take out the wobble. I still like it, I bought it because of the support on the bottom. I am sure it will cook well depending on me. I am pleased but not pleased with shipping. The gentleman with FedEx Express today was great said he was sorry.
