Gridiron 36

First off. I purchased the bundle with all the accessories. I did individual reviews for those. This is my first flattop griddle. When this was announced I was excited for the price points. Esp compared to other brands with front grease management. Which was a major desire. I was down to gridiron and a BS. After some initial reviews on Reddit I jumped on this. No regrets. Assembly can be time consuming by your self. Needed help with the hood. But less than 2hrs. Thing is solid. Feels premium to me. Initialy did seasoning with avacado oil. Next morning we made breakfast. Nothing stuck. Love the low and the high. Alot of people concerned about high temps not being high enough. But for us it cooked bacon quick. Cooks burgers great. Then on low works great for eggs and just warming buns. So far. Everything has worked as planned Love the look of this thing. I think this is up there with more expensive premium griddles. Built solid. Had slight issue with left shelf not snapping into place. But I don't lowere it. And I know where I need to apply a little bit of pressure to lock in. Love the grease system. 1 thing and maybe I'm just being picky. I wish the propane tank was able to mount underneath so both shelves could fully collapse. Also hide it. I had a cheap black tank cover I put on. For the price. I feel this has been excellent purchase. Wife loves the ignition system as she was scared of previous standard grill. I have loved it so far.

I purchased my griddle through the Camp Chef website shortly after its release. My two boxes arrived undamaged and in good condition. While assembling my griddle, I noticed that a receiving screw port was missing and I could not attach one of the bolts to the frame supports to the leg. Also, one of the legs had a small dent in scratch in it. Those issues were easy to overcome, however The griddle had three broken spot welds and was bent and would not fit properly in the frame. The leveling screws were no help and the griddle top was very wobbly. Camp Chef Customer Service is mailing out a new griddle so hopefully that will fix the problem. I’ve been in Camp Chef customer for several years and I expected more quality control out of a new product release like this.

You can not go wrong with this flattop! Heats up super fast and makes amazing food. Clean up is a breeze!
