I am excited about these shelves. I have used a 3 burner camp chef that had the shelves already attached and knew they were wonderful. When I purchased the 2 burner, I missed the shelves, thus I purchased them. We don't have the carrying case, and just store the stove in the box. With the shelves installed, it will no longer fit in the box. I plan to just reinstall them each time I use the camp chef. It's just kind of a pain, but I feel it will be worth the effort.

I must have everything I can have by now. I feed the crew every year at fishing camp[ and good times are had by all. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't do much fishing but nobody leaves hungry.thanks for a great product

Shelf doesn't lay flat when open. If shelf laid flat when open would be much better, anything put on it slides toward the burners. Other than that they are sturdy enough and fold up nice for storage with the cover on.

Mal aligned shelves

One side fit fine... the other was off kilter. Had to try and bend it so it would close properly. Still rubs on the side and tab had to be bent so that it would lay flat. I have seen similar complaints regarding the fit. I have a Tundra 3X from Costco.
More trouble than their worth. Can’t really leave the grill box on as the stove cover won’t fit. Forced to put the grill box on the lid when closed risking scratching the paint on the closed shelf. Disappointed quality

Questions about durability

I question the durability and design of these shelves. The support arm is only 2-3” long for a shelf about 16” folded out. This leaves most of the shelf unsupported. Shelf needs better support design. I believe if a full pot was put in the shelf it would bend and break hurting someone if the pot was hot. The stove is great. I’m disappointed in the shelf. The stove is great, I was expecting a better shelf.

These are heavy, sturdy, well engineered accessories for Camp Chef camp stoves. All hardware, including brackets for stoves without them, are included. Makes a nice cover for the stove when packed, as a bonus.

be sure to tell Camp Chef what grill you have (expidition 2 etc) some models have legs that stick out to support the shelves mine did not but the support brackets came with the shelves.. they are nice

I just installed these was disappointing that the ends were bent .. They would not install with out bending with a pliers. the paint was cracked and will likely peel. but i do like the shelves
