FINALLY!! A camp stove to be excited about!

I had no idea a stove could be this good! From boiling water to a complete meal, this stove makes cooking a breeze. I had no idea what I'd been missing. The extra BTUs really allow us to save a lot of time waiting on food to cook. We even added an iron griddle for a perfect grilling scenario. One of my favorite features is being able to lower the heat to simmer without losing the flame. This used to be a constant battle while camping. The heat shields are fantastic at directing the heat to exactly where you need it. We spend so much less time cooking and more time camping, thanks to this stove. Love this Everest 2X soooo much!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Plenty of heat, but hard to control temp

I have owned this stove for 2 years. Has been very hard to control the heat on burners. They need better valves that will stay in place. You have to turn way up and valves then close down. Takes a while to get correct temp.. if valves worked would be great stove!

Love the stove - not happy with CampChef company

This is (was?) an amazing camp stove - incredible heat output - BUT, Camp Chef makes it so hard to service and care for... 1) Why don't they sell a PADDED nylon bag to better protect the stove? 2) Why can't I buy new o-rings for the regulator when they wear out and leak? 3) Why can't I buy new burner assembly (rings or main reflector dish) when the existing one has rusted/corroded/burned away? I was hoping this was going to last a lifetime, but it looks like once discontinued, Camp Chef - like all the rest - just want to sell you a new stove. :-(

No, I do not recommend this product.
